Last Tuesday I had to drive to Kalamata to take my car to the Suzuki dealer there for its first service since I have owned it. I do not much enjoy the great bustling metropolis of Kalamata so necessarily compensate myself for essential visits by lunching at one of the hereabouts uncommonly superior restaurants overlooking the tranquil marina. There last Tuesday I followed an excellent Caesar Salad with a delicious concoction of pasta, salmon, salmon roe, cream and - according to the menu - vodka; a flask of cool local white wine helped me to digest this veritable feast.
