To any pejorative, rather than constructive, critics who may choose to read my ramblings.

Consider this:
"I am self contained and self-reliant; your opinion is nothing to me; I have no interest in you, care nothing for you, and see and hear you with indifference."
Dickens, Little Dorrit

I'm sorry you feel that way...

I have my books
And my poetry to protect me;
I am shielded in my armor,
Hiding in my room, safe within my womb.
I touch no one and no one touches me.
I am a rock,
I am an island.

And a rock feels no pain;
And an island never cries.

Keith, why be sorry? I am content to believe in a cult of loneliness, that materially, we arrive alone and however many may be weeping round our bed when we leave th journey will necessarily be made alone and for the time in between we are, in fact, quite alone within ourselves.
